How to measure & what to expect

  • Width & Length: Measure the inside of your bed frame edge to edge. Round to the nearest inch.
  • Corners: If a corner is cut, measure how far the cut runs along each edge (X across, Y down) and pick Radius (rounded), Angle (diagonal), or Notch (square cut-in).
  • Unusual shapes: For boats, RV slide-outs, or antique beds, trace the shape on cardboard and attach it after submitting your quote.

Sleeper sizes change by make, model and cab height. Measure your own bunk before you order.

How to measure

  1. Measure the bunk deck

    Measure the flat bunk surface from wall to the edge of the bunk, keeping the tape flat. Don't run it up the sidewall.

  2. Check your headroom

    Measure from the bunk deck to the bottom of the upper bunk or cabinets, so you can pick a height that still lets you sit up.

  3. Trace odd corners

    If a corner is angled around a cabinet or bracket, trace it on cardboard laid on the bunk. Or call us and we'll check your numbers.

It's built to the width and length you enter, anywhere from 28 to 84 inches. Measure your bunk, enter the numbers, and we cut it to that size.
