How to measure & what to expect

  • Width & Length: Measure the inside of your bed frame edge to edge. Round to the nearest inch.
  • Corners: If a corner is cut, measure how far the cut runs along each edge (X across, Y down) and pick Radius (rounded), Angle (diagonal), or Notch (square cut-in).
  • Unusual shapes: For boats, RV slide-outs, or antique beds, trace the shape on cardboard and attach it after submitting your quote.

Common RV mattress sizes

RV sizes vary by maker and model year. Use these as a starting point, then measure your own platform.

RV Queen 60 x 80 Same as a home queen. Some need rounded corners to clear a walkway.
RV King 72 x 80 4 inches narrower than a home king.

RV Three-Quarter 48 x 75 Found in older and smaller campers.
RV Bunk 28 x 75 Narrow bunk. Also seen at 30 x 75 and 34 x 75.

How to measure

  1. Measure the platform, not the old mattress

    Old RV mattresses squash and shrink. Measure the bare platform edge to edge at its widest and longest points.

  2. Check it with the slides in

    Measure with the slide-outs closed and the bedroom door shut, so the new mattress doesn't block the walkway or the slide.

  3. Trace curved corners

    If the foot of the bed is rounded, lay cardboard on the platform and trace the curve. We'll match the corner to it.

Each one is cut to your width, length and corners, so it can't be resold. If it arrives not matching the specs you submitted, or defective, we replace it or refund it.
